Last week Sandra French received the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga School of Nursing.
Sandy earned her masters of Science in Nursing degree in 2007 and is board certified as a family nurse practitioner and credentialed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Her experience includes many years of work as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in family practice and dermatology settings. She joined VeinCare Centers of Tennessee in 2016 where she evaluates and treats patients with venous and lymphatic disorders.
Sandy is an expert in the clinical diagnosis of chronic pelvic venous disorders which may cause pelvic pain, deep pelvic pain with intimacy, or leg pain or swelling. She teaches and lectures at major national medical meetings on how to recognize and evaluate patients with pelvic venous disorders. Sandy performs sclerotherapy treatments for varicose veins and VeinGogh treatments for tiny facial veins as well.
We are extremely proud of Sandy and her contributions to our patients. Sandy, Dr. Stephen Daugherty, and the rest of our team work together closely to bring world-class venous care to Clarksville.
"The staff here is excellent; you could not find a better doctor or nursing and office staff. You are always treated with the utmost respect. The nursing staff is very informative, and Dr. Daugherty is very caring and compassionate." -- D.C.
