Certifications
Dr. Daugherty began vascular ultrasound training in 1988 and earned the Registered Vascular Technologist certification in 1992. During 2009 and 2010, he served on the task force writing the new Registered Phlebology Sonographer certification exam administered by Cardiovascular Credentialing International. He serves as a representative for Phlebology on the Medicare Carrier Advisory Committee for Tennessee where Medicare Local Coverage Directives are reviewed.
